Panna Cotta with Mango Sauce

As I loved the cranberry panna cottas, I decided to try it with other sauces. This story began with me seeing mangoes in the supermarket.

To make panna cottas, I used the same recipe as to make cranberry panna cottas.

MANGO SAUCE
1 mango
1 lime
3 dkg sugar
2 tablespoon milk
1 teaspoon nutmeg

See the main ingredients are fruit, sugar and any liquid. So I used nutmeg instead of cinnamon and milk and lime instead of water.

Step 1: How to peel a mango?
Peel the mangoes until you reach its yellow flesh. No white, no strings, just the pure, nice yellow flesh. As mango has a huge seed, try to cut the seed out before cut it into cubes.

Step 2: Boiling
Put the mango cubes in a saucepan. Wring the lime juice. Add sugar, nutmeg and milk. Boil it up on medium heat. Stir it regularly.

Step 3: Ready to serve
When the mangos are cooked, pour it in a food processor or use a mixer to mix it up. Put back for 5 more minutes and the sauce is ready.

Wait for 5-10 minutes to cool and paddle it on the panna cottas. The sauce was a real sauce, not a jam this time. It haven’t got firm even leaving it in the fridge overnight.
